L’ho fatto ieri mattina volentieri e orgogliosamente, concretizzando l’idea del nostro direttore Paride Leporace, di mettere nelle condizioni di fruire dell’informazione de “Il Quotidiano della Basilicata” i tanti allevatori, agricoltori e cittadini in genere stricken from the epicenter, I throw the term, the flood that struck on Tuesday without a truce and Metaponto Metapontino in particular. Thus, in the absence of a kiosk, we replaced the important work of the news, in the most noble of the period. Tables to Palatine, where he concentrated livestock farms surviving flood, a kiosk there. And we thought yesterday to fill this gap. On the other hand, and I fully agree with Leporace, if the efforts of myself and of my colleagues, these days are focused on the story of the disaster weather and everything that entails, would not be fair to deprive the reading and information, just the "stars", in spite of themselves, of the tragic story. One Sunday morning, my, other than the usual. Better go Metaponto by "displaced persons" rather than walking over or go on a trip out of town. A newspaper and its journalists are not to be distant from what's going on, but penetrate into the problems of the world around us and especially in the first place, in proximity, such as a local newspaper like ours to do. From the Palatine Tables missing from the farmers' protest appulo-Lucan a few years ago and the 2003 protest against the single website Scanzano. The difference is that back then I went there empty handed. As a newspaper we do not reject questa gente, e senza cercare facili e comode vetrine continueremo a fare i giornalisti come sempre. E all’occorrenza anche i giornalai.
